Florence Earney has developed a passion for quilting that is reflected in her work. She enjoys the challenge of each quilting artwork — from concept to creation — as she transforms creative notions into beautiful quilts.

As a farm wife and mother, her sewing interests began out of neccessity. She recognized the importance of quality work as she dealt with everything from patches for "overalls" to hand made clothes. Florence has dabbled in a variety of other sewing-related hobbies, including knitting, crotcheting, and needlepoint.

Upon retirement from the farm, her mild interest in quilting quickly grew with ambitious exploration of magazines and quilt shows. "Quilt Club" is currently one of her favorite social activities.
