Custom Designs
Florence chooses not to produce quilts using plans created by someone else. She enjoys creating her own design, and the challenge of making it a reality. What colors and patterns are pleasing? How will they work together? What design will each block feature? These are questions that challenge and inspire her.

Every quilt presents a mathematical challenge as well. How much fabric is required? How many squares? How large, and what shape will each quilted piece be?

One Needle — No Deadline
Once the design is determined, Florence proceeds to produce each quilt entirely on her own. Every piece is cut by hand, hand-pressed, and machine-stitched together. Once the blocks are assembled, she carefully glides a single needle through the composition to provide the finishing touch. No helpers. No pressure. No deadline. Just a passion for her craft that keeps her motivated.

Not Just "Pretty"
A custom-designed, handmade quilt is more than decorative accessory. When these quilts are displayed in a home or office, it's an exhibit of appreciation for an art form that dates back centuries. Earney quilts represent the spirit of an individual's innovation and determination. They're proudly produced. They should be proudly displayed.
